The USNG Store is a project of Minnesota based 501(c)3 nonprofit SharedGeo.  SharedGeo's mission is to help government, nonprofit, education, and corporate entities use mapping technologies and share geographic data for the public good.

Income earned through this site is used by SharedGeo to develop additional USNG technologies and capabilities which are then made available to the public. These products and services are typically provided at no cost.  

Some products offered on this website, such as the USNG Emergency Location Marker (ELM) may appear simple in concept but they took several years to develop to ensure competing federal, state and local laws and regulations were addressed in the final product.
